I Don’t Get Paid for My Time…

August 11, 2017

Obviously your time is valuable. But when somebody hires a UX/UI expert they aren’t hiring you just for your time. They are hiring you because you are uniquely qualified to solve their problems.

…I get paid for solutions.

Why is this an important distinction?

Obviously your time is valuable. But when somebody hires a UX/UI expert they aren’t hiring you just for your time. They are hiring you because you are uniquely qualified to solve their problems.

How do I get potential clients to engage with my site?
How do I get new customers to buy more product online?

When designers start to think only in terms of hours they often miss out on finding the most optimal solution for their clients. They look for “good enough” instead of something that will truly help their clients 10X, as Grant Cardone would say. People come to me because I don’t stop at good enough. I work until I give them the solution I promised them.
